If You Were God

Teens are challenged to "play God" by teaching people on an island to live peacefully together and maintain a healthy society. Discussion questions guide teens to come up with solutions and ultimately realize that God employed these strategies at different points in the world's history. (Ex. The Flood, Dor Haflagah, and the creation of the Jewish Nation.)

In between discussion questions, teens are challenged to accomplish "impossible tasks" because, after all, they are trying to play God.

The activity and discussion questions are based on Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan's book "If You Were God" as well as Rav Hirsch's Nineteen Letters.
